Returns, exchanges, and uncollected parcels

Product exchanges

If you would like to exchange your ordered product for a different size, colour, or another product entirely, please follow the return instructions below. Please note that, due to hygiene reasons, we are unable to refund opened product packaging, as these are underwear products.

How to Return a Product

  1. Contact us by email as soon as possible to let us know that you would like to return or exchange your product. We will send you a confirmation along with a return reference number, which must be added to the address field of your return parcel.
  2. Pack the product carefully and send it back to us using a trackable shipping method.
  3. Once the return has arrived and the products have been inspected, we will refund the value of the returned products and send you a confirmation by email.

Right of Cancellation

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without providing a reason. The cancellation period expires 14 days after you have received your order. The customer is responsible for the direct costs of returning the products.

How to Exercise Your Right of Cancellation

  • To exercise your right of cancellation, you must notify us by email at: team@theotherdanishguy.com
  • Once we have received your notification, we will send you a confirmation by email. Please note that we only accept cancellation notices submitted by email.
  • Returned products must be sent back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after submitting the cancellation notice. The deadline is considered met if the products have been shipped before the 14-day return period expires.
  • Returned products and their original packaging must be unopened, unused, and in flawless condition.
  • Returns must be sent using a trackable Matkahuolto shipping method (for example XXS Parcel).
  • Please pack the products carefully and keep the shipping receipt and tracking number provided by Matkahuolto until the parcel has safely arrived back to us.
  • Please do not write on or tape the original product packaging. If the original packaging has been damaged, we reserve the right to refuse the refund.
  • If you use the same shipping box in which you originally received the order, please remove or cover any old barcode labels before returning the parcel.

Refunds

Once the return has been approved:

  • we will issue the refund no later than 14 days after receiving your cancellation notice, but only after the returned products have arrived back to us
  • the refund will be processed using the same payment method used for the original order
  • no additional fees will be charged to the customer apart from the direct return shipping costs.

 

Unclaimed and Returned Shipments

If a parcel is not collected in time, or if the shipping address provided is incorrect or incomplete, the shipment will be returned to us by the delivery provider.

Once the returned shipment has arrived back to us, we will refund the product value minus the shipping and handling costs caused by the return (€9.90).

Please note that an unclaimed parcel does not constitute a valid cancellation or return under consumer protection legislation.

Failure to collect a shipment is considered a breach of contract by the customer, and the online store reserves the right to recover any costs incurred in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (Chapter 5, Sections 25 and 28).
