Jack of too many trades.
Would it be easy to blame others or your current reality? As societies have become more polarized, we have increasingly allowed ourselves to be used by demagogues on both sides of the aisle, amplifying their insults instead of exposing their motivations. Again and again, we have escalated the conflict and snuffed the complexity out of the conversation. Conflict is important, but what else can we do with it, besides letting it sit? Are we advocates, and should we be in the business of making people feel better? Is it true that when you blame others, you give up your power to change?
